Transforming Islamic Religious Education Through Digital Technology In The Society 5.0 Era.

Abstrak

Technological developments in the era of Society 5.0 called for changes in the education sector, including Islamic Religious Education, to create relevant, adaptive, and future-oriented learning models. This study uses a qualitative approach with literature studies, namely conducting critical analysis of sources ‑ sources that discuss the digitalization of Islamic education and its implementation in the study of PAI. Research findings in the transformation of digital technology-based PAI learning in the era of Society 5.0, integration of digital technology through the use of online platforms, learning applications, and interactive media that enable flexible and contextual learning, The shift from a teacher approach ‑ center to a learning model that places students as center, where students play an active role in the learning process based on digital experience, the need for increased literacy and digital ethics based on grades ‑ Islamic values. The success of digital technology-based PAI transformation requires synergy between teachers, educational institutions, and policymakers, emphasizing the development of human resource capacity, the provision of adequate infrastructure, and curriculum innovations that support the integration of technology and Islamic values.
